    Wisconsin Adult Protective Services (APS) are set up to aid elder adults and Adults-at-Risk who have been abused, neglected, or exploited. If you suspect an elder adult or adult at risk has experienced, is currently experiencing, or is at risk of experiencing abuse, neglect, self-neglect, or financial exploitation, your first step should be to contact the appropriate agency. When you call to report alleged abuse, there are several questions you may be asked, including information about the adult at risk and the incident(s) of abuse. This information is helpful, but you are not required to know it. You will also have the option to give your name and address, but you do not have to give this information.
